Mission
From the Constitution and By-Laws of the Swampscott Church of Spiritualism, a nonprofit religious Corporation incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, founded on April 1, 1971:
The object of this Corporation [church] is the dedicated and pledged support of modern Spiritualism. This Corporation pledges the promotion of the philosophy and religion of Spiritualism and the creation of an environment for the spiritual growth and development of its members.
