Here at the Swampscott Church of Spiritualism, we invite you, our members and friends, to step onto your spiritual path—a step which takes commitment and dedication to discover the life you’re meant to live. Each and every week, we open our doors to new people, life-long learners on a spiritual journey into the understanding of their souls’ purpose and, most importantly, their unique, sometimes sticky, challenging, miraculous and amazing lives.
So what is “altogether different” you ask? Well, for starters, our distinctive belief system—grounded in a set of Principles which draw, in part, from the Natural Laws of the Universe, otherwise known as the laws of attraction, creation, allowing, and others.
You have perhaps found our website in your effort to understand what many of us Spiritualists are also busy trying to figure out—the meaning of life! And, of course, the phenomenon of life after death. This religion offers something more than dogma or creed. We offer proof of the continuity of life after death through weekly demonstrations of Spirit communication. Every Sunday morning, through the practice of mediumship, we ease the grief of loss and bring love and joy to our congregants as we connect those on the Earth plane to their Loved Ones in Spirit. As Spiritualists, we don’t just believe, we know that our Loved Ones who have passed on are but a thought away!
In our healing practice, through the laying on of hands, we promote and facilitate the healing of ourselves and others through Divine healing energy.
At the Swampscott Church of Spiritualism, you will find like-minded people coming together in love, acceptance and humility, sharing the journey and learning from each other. As a community, we embrace the love that this life offers as we consider the eternal connection we all share.
