From Our Pastor – April 19th

April 19, 2020

Dear Members and Friends of the Swampscott Church of Spiritualism:

I hope this letter finds you well. As another week has passed and our church doors remain closed, I genuinely hope that you are taking time to care for yourself and your families. While this unprecedented time continues to keep us separate, just know that your church family misses you, and you are all thought about often.

I also want to let you know that although we are no longer meeting in the physical sense, we are still here for you. Should you need anything, please feel free to email the Board of Trustees or me. Just because we aren’t holding regular church services, we are still your church family and can be available for conversation or communication should you need something.

On another note, I hope that you are taking advantage of the membership section of our website where the weekly lecture and meditation is posted. We are fortunate that so many have stepped forward and continue to offer lectures and meditations for all of us to enjoy. A special thank you to each of these individuals who are helping us continue to feel connected, even while we are apart. If you haven’t been able to access the members’ page, we would certainly like to welcome you to become a member. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Looking forward, I would like to call your attention to an urgent matter of business regarding our Board of Trustees. As you may know, our annual members’ meeting was postponed indefinitely, but the business of the church must continue to move forward. With this in mind, our President Shana Ross will be sending out a letter discussing future actions the church will be taking to help properly fill the slate of positions currently open on the Board. So, stay tuned for that letter.

With love and light,

Rev. Jason
